Thanks cushti

I did 10 years of drag racing which kept me poor during my 20's. I did know the Jag and Chevy stud patterns were the same but forgot (dementia?). I will widen my search for chrome wires to the states (ebay.com) however shipping could be heavy.

You probably know about them already but Northants Tyres supplies US wheels at good prices, they might have some:

Reply to lucky@leMans

Yes you can use them now. We gave Kitcar the exclusive and did not want any shots going out till they had done the photoshoot (hence the 'copyright' watermark).

Funny you should say that we originally fitted 205's and they looked ridiculous. It would have had to been drastically lowered. I prefer standard springs, the cars rarely drive well with aftermarket reduced springs. The 225's give that lovely classic car 'squirm' as the tyres lean on hard cornering, but still grip.

We have a set of 16" MWS chrome wires on the next build with 215's. When they are on I'll upload a photo.

reply to Cushti

They want £369 + Vat for 15" wire wheels each!!! Worth a try though.
Any one else out there got a solution?

I thought it was about time I started putting photos on here to show the various builds we have going on at the moment, Richard.

Copied these instructions from another website (SingleTrackWorld)

Posting an Image

The image must be hosted on the internet somewhere.

If it is on your computer you must first upload it to a photo hosting site. Try a search for image hosting to get you started.

Once you have chosen the image you want to show on the forum you need to find its URL (universal resource locator – its location on the internet).

Do this by right clicking on the image and choosing “copy image location” (or similar wording depending on your web browser). Note that this must be the location of the image itself, not the URL of the page it is on.

Then go to the forum and type :

Where ‘http://www.singletrackworld.com/common/logo.png’ is the URL you just retrieved.

Go to the photobucket page.

On the right of the image is Share this Picture with a series of links below it.

Click on the one marked IMG and it will copy the link

Paste that link in here unchanged.

Job done
