You're welcome.. just a google away.
Must say that I've missed the Newark and Donington shows this year. Always an opportunity to have a few drinks with mates and doss in a tent. The Castle Combe show didn't have the same vibe although it was a good day out.

A new show in God's own country is the 'Big Welsh Classic Car Show' on 20th September in Margam Park near Port Talbot. Entry is £7 for spectators though strangely, the cost to exhibit is more.

It replaces the well-established and very popular event with 100s of cars on show that used to take place in Tredegar House near Newport. I remember there being many very nice vintage and veteran cars on show though can't think of anything else particularly memorable. Margam Park is well worth a visit if the weather is good.

Did anyone else make it to Prescott this weekend ? It was one of the best end of season events I have been to in years . Huge attendance , loads of classics / racing / hot rods etc . Wall of death , live music , track action .
I think the organisers are making an effort to compete with the likes of Goodwood but on a smaller scale. The Midlands location is ideal for many.
Stunning weather for a change and only 20 minutes from home ! There has been some serious investment at the venue over the last two or three years unlike many places around the UK. Excellent club house ( open to all ) fantastic collection Bugatti cars , no restrictions on site , go where you want, pits area was open , talk to the drivers etc etc .
I might suggest this could be a meeting place for a Tribute day next year ??

It's the Malvern Classic Car, Historic Commercial and Mini Show 11th October 2015.
My very favourite showground - super drive from Gloucester up the A417 and B4208. Always wanted to camp there.
