Default Links to useful info for Tribute builders...

Introduction:
This is an attempt to pull lots of useful information into a single thread.
The content of this thread has already been edited and changed a few times.
One reason is trying to keep up with the ever increasing Tribute range.
The other is a Forum limit on the number of photos that can be included per post.
So you will have to work your way through both pages to see all the build threads.

Paul,

What can I say other than thank you so much for doing such a great job, one which I should have done a long time ago.

Thanks again.

Regards Chris

Would be be feasible/possible to create a list of parts needed and where best to buy for the kits?

Maybe builders could chip in where they have purchased from and even give tips on what NOT to buy!

I'm going down the cobra route so if anyone has bought bits and pieces for theirs maybe they could point me in the right direction (side vents, hinges, headlights and rims etc..)

Car builder solutions and Europa seem like the biggest players.

(Z3 stripping tips would be great too!)

I had to cut away some of the front crash protector and some small bits of steel under the head light mounts (I was working on a MK2). Take a look at what is fouling and grind it out bit by bit until the lights will go in. As long as you don't cut out anything structural you should be okay.

Found an excellent site for Z3s and thought I'd share it - there are some important bits to look for when selecting a donor, from the well publicised VANOS & Nikasil on certain engines to the less well known diff mount cracking: https://zroadster.org/articles/?cate...z3-wiki&id=274

Unfortunately, the following cars do not have their own build threads.

There are more photos of them under construction in the A352 development thread (Here).
