What requirement does the washer system have to meet to pass?

It needs to function at the time of the test
 
It must provide adequate fluid to the windscreen to clear it in conjunction with the wipers
 
The washer bottle must hold at least 1 litre of fluid.
 
The system has to withstand a load pressure test to ensure all joints are secure. (block the washer jets and run the washer system for 5 seconds or so. You will probably be ok if no leaks are present)
