Wizard opportunity from Merlin
Posted by Madabout News on Friday, January 7th, 2005 at 12:34 AM |
A long time favourite of mine which I've followed since my introduction to kit cars in the mid 80's is being offered to would be kit car manufacturers.
The Merlin is a 1930's classicly styled roadster that never seems to date. Out of the kit car scene for a number of years but available in 'turnkey' form for some time the Merlin could now once again be available as a kit.
The opportunity is for rights to sell the Merlin in the UK, or to quote Merlin Sportcars;
"Merlin Sports Cars are offering the exclusive rights to manufacture and distribute the Merlin sportscar without license or franchise restrictions"
 Classicly styled 1930's Roadster, the Merlin.
The Merlin has had a strong following over the years with many hundreds of kits sold with a high percentage still in use today.
The Merlin was originally based around Ford Cortina running gear but this opportunity will afford the new owner to update the underpinnings if so desired.
 Merlin's chassis and running gear.
The package available will include;
Up to date chassis and suspension units (including engineering drawings)
A full set of body panels
An exclusive contract to manufacture and distribute the Merlin sportscar within a specified region.
The rights to re-design the chassis and fabricate jigs.
Freedom of merchandising and rights to produce body moulds within the nominated region or country.
