On the subject of fuel pump. This will make you giggle.
On the mk2 Rover 200, there is a seperate sender unit. Wondering why the car would not start. Got the meter out. ECU was priming the correct wire at the ECU end. Spent an hour chasing wires etc. It turned out that the sender unti connector and pump are exactlty the same. So the ECU was trying to prime the sender unit!
