Rubbing at the front.

Hi guys.

After testing driving to the MOT, I noticed the wheels rubbing at the front going round corners. Have you guys that have there's on the road noticed this? There don't seem to be a lot of clearance at the front.

When I picked up my body all those years ago I remember Mark drawing a line on the wheel arch near the bottom saying I would have to cut along it to stop the rubbing. Have you modified yours in this way ? Nick

I got Marlin to fit the bodywork so I would have hoped they would have picked it up. Is it front or back of the wheel arch?

Like you I entrusted the same, again like you I would have expected the same service, if this is not so I will be very concerned. I do though recal Dylon in the early stages having the wrong wheels, an easy mistake as Mark Mathews does not know, or is not willing to tell his customers the offset (45). Indeed, he just told me a wheel suitable for a Rover, in the case of yours being 195 are they too wide. Perhaps you need to discuss with the the Technical Director.

To be honest I can't remember . I've checked all my notes and can't find any mention of it. But I do remember Mark taking me out in the purple demo car and the front wheels were rubbing , he said it just needed a little bit taking off the wing. I was so gullible back then !
