Heater blowing resistors

19 Aug 2007, 1:45pm
To save me time at the breakers, if you know where on a Rover 200 the resistors are for the heater blower, could you let me know please.

Cheers,

John.

p.s A bit of dim moment lead to the incorrect thread title!

John

Limpabit has provided all the necessary info, I would just sugest, it maybe of some value to use a relay, and if possible when you go to the breakers, get as much rover wireing as you can.

Cheers chaps,

I thought it'd be in the airstream, as they usually are, but I couldn't see it on my heater box when I had a look.

Either I need my eyes testing, or the resistors were on a section of the heater box I chopped off when I modified the 'box, and I've forgotten where the "safe" place is I put the resistors.

Either way, oops.

John, you have not chopped it off as it is located know where near that part!

As you are sat in the passenger seat and looking at the blower you will be looking at the round part of the blower....it is located at the bottom of this if my memory serves me correctly

I like those lights! Could you tell me where you got them? I'm (trying!) to get some via Marlin but I don't think they're quite as nice so might look at other options.
