DOH - right first time! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it sticking out from the bumper tube. Keeping in mind that I had already trial fitted the bumpers so the tube must have been deep inside the chassis - wacking the chassis with a lump hammer and cold chisel must have vibrated it out!
Yes, it must have been quite a surprise! It could have caused a very annoying noise in the future.
I must take a peer into mine.
I've had mice nesting in my lockup and it's occurred to me that they might have found a nice cosy draught free home!
