Warning: Pin that holds the shifter in

During our trip back from the SVA this pin came out leaving me with a loose gear stick - luckly I was able to roll into someones car park stop, go find the bit (which made a nice ping sound as it left the vehicle) jack it up and re-install it (after some bending back into shape and filling).

This bit looked perfectly good going on, and was really solid. So I'm not sure why it came off. Anyway the point is we've stuck a bolt with a lock nut through there instead now so it shouldn't come off any more. Make sure yours is all good before you take the car on the road :)

One thing I will add is that the gear change is much smoother and easier as well now!
