Ever hopefull that I will get my Marlin Sportster on the road this year, i'm starting to wonder about eye protection.
I don't fancy a full helmet, but I am concerned about my eyes and glasses.
I only have one set of eyes and wear somewhat expensive varifocals (it's my age :smile
i was thinking about something like these...........
Seriously - they look very similar to the goggle portion of the face mask I used to wear when I went paint-balling, and I wore those over glasses.
They where comfortable enough - even when hit with high velocity paint!
I assume that they're made out of polycarbonate, so they'd stop any grit or kamikaze bugs.
I bought a pair of prescription safety glasses of the internet. They look like ordinary specs except that the lenses are polycarbonate and there are little clip on fill in bits on the side that stop - err - anything getting round the side.
They aren't fully sealed to the face though so they aren't going to stop the force 9 gale and they aren't varifocal - but you don't generally need varifocal for driving unless you want to read a map at the same time! Nowadays I let Tom read the map for me....
