I've been keeping an eye on my web stats and found some interesting things:

Group of people from Italy who are very interested in kit cars. Nice big Stoneleigh 2008 gallery on their site:

Hi Patrick,

That was me..:), I like your Sportster kit very much and thought about doing a redesign for my own pleasure.........I did download quite afew of your pictures to base my new renderings on........... I will maybe show something......

I posted your website because you have some very nice pictures of your build, and I pointed it out to some of the guys in the forum !

I think quite a few italian would fancy something like your Sportster, and maybe a coupe version could make a nice option.

Very few kitcars in Italya, and most are sevens and cobra's, so it was a nice change to show something different and unique.

Came over to Stoneleigh this year.........and walked by the Marlin lot in the park, but didn't know anyone of you guys, so I just filmed a few sportsters at the entrance ......

I hope you don't mind me posting your link.....:)
Ciao

Hi Italo,
i've admired lots of your drawings on Pistonheads and now in CKC.

How about designing us a nice hard top for the Sporster or some nice colour schemes?

I'm good with the spanners but hopeless when it comes to colour or design

thanks

Peter

Hi Peter,

Thanks for the kind comments.........I was actually thinking about a similar project.....,

Maybe a modern revamp for the sportster chassis?........but also a new hard top would do it, and do like two tone colouring like Bugatti's......:).

If you were going to restyle the Sportster, with a more modern design influence, what would you like to see?

Morgan Aero ? or other ?..........classic or more modern ?

Let me know guys and I will try to incorporate your ideas, in some of my future design renderings.

Cheers

I have thought a bolt on hard top with a hot rod look would work well on the Sportster :)
