Hey all,
im new here as i am planing on buying a kit car and would be realy gratefull of some advice,
i am a car mechanic for subaru in Bristol and currently own a 350 bhp/370 lbft wrx sti impreza that is going to a new home next week so have decided to buy a kit car for a new toy,
my parents have always been into cars and own several classics including a genuine AC ace (Bristol engine) and a AC aceca (AC engine) along with a v8 morgan a frogeye sprite 2 lotus elan`s and several others, we are all car mad, lol,
what i would like to know is after some research my origional choice of a ac cobra kit has been forgotten as i have been told that im not going to enjoy the performance and handling compared to what i am used to with the subaru,
so have decided to go for a westfield type car with the cosworth turbo engine as a friend used to own one and i was very impressed with it,
at the moment i have been to see a Dax rush, factory built on a D reg for £13,000 but i am very confused what is a better car to go for, Dax, Westfield or one of the many others available,,,,,,,
what ones are easyest to obtain parts for etc,,,
any help would be gratefully recieved,
