could someone give some info on the top wishbones--currently rebuilding same and cant recall which way to mount them-does the more acute angled curve go to the back or front?which way up are they mounted?

curvy bit to the front, so the hubs lean further back :) You should be able to tell from the taper as well.

Thanks Patrick,just my luck,had curvy bit to rear-another go tonight...maybe if its taken off ,I should go for new top bushes at this stage.

If you have them the wrong way round the steering does not auto centre and it becomes and SVA fail point (as I found out the hard way)
