hi everybody any ideas of the best degreaser to use on engine?

There is usually plenty in the car spares shops. Gunk and the like.

I used Gunk and Gunk Ultra on the really stubborn bits. Both from Halfrauds.

If you are not rebuilding the engine, use gunk on its own. When I did mine I "gunked" it, nitromores's it (paint stripped), washed down with fairy liquid/water pressure washer, then soaked it for 24hrs in rust-a-way, rinsed then blew it dry with compressed air and then painted where required with hammerite and sprayed the rest with wd40. - It's come up really well - took a couple of days though
