Steering Wheel recomendations

I really like to look of the steering wheel fitted to my Sportster but I'm finding the plastic surround is too hard and slippery so I have difficulty gripping it especially at low spedd when parking etc.



So I am thinking of an upgrade and the most common available seem to be Momo, Moutney, and Moto-lita.

Anybody got any feedback particularly on grip and feel?

I'm also wondering if I should go up one size to 14", dished or flat, leather or woodrim?

I've got a momo wheel in my Sportster, I find the grip quite good:



It's the smaller 320mm of the Momo Millennium.

I too have a Momo Millenium on my exi. Nice wheel.

Best I have ever driven though is my current BMW 3 series M Sport.

This wheel is so tactile, chunky and nice to hold. You are in absolute control at all times.

...don't know how this would work on the Sportster though as it has an airbag and audio buttons on it.

Go to your nearest BMW dealership and sit in any of the 3 series M Sport models...you will see what I mean!!

I've been tempted to get a CSL alcantara covered wheel for my daily driver but since they stopped making the CSL the steering wheel prices have shot up to a silly amount.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, the sunshine is great!

I doubt if the current BMW steering wheels will fit the e30 column and are probably 3-4x the price of what i was looking at!

But your right, i'm looking for a wheel that creates a good grip and control.

Mine is a Momo Jet, it's really nice and chunky with a good feels to it, I used it in the rain/damp before christmas and didn't loose grip
