As a matter of interest to the Rover builders I have sourced a 'NEW' PG1 gearbox with legit invoice for my build.
The box is the uprated Rover direct replacement with improved bearing races and is the equiv. for the current donor box (basically the Rover 25 production box) and this purchase will provide me with the paperwork to justify a new registration post IVA, I know I am a bit previous but you got you plan these things especially the paper proofs.
The box(s) was(are) being offered from the Rover liquidator via DNA Technologies, Cannock, Staffordshire (they have four, sorry three on stock!).
The cost I hear you ask, £203 delivered to my door, that's £200 I have paid for an invoice to prove I have only one refurbished component in the build and effectively buys me a new registration when I apply, result for £200 in my book anyway.
eace: All I need now is to remove the engine and current box and fit the new one before the IVA.
Well I'm happy.
