old kit car sva!!!!!!!!!!!

i have just bought a midge kit car,its been built and used for around 20 years but on the log book it still states 1968 triumph as this was the car it was based on should i get this changed or i am i walking into massive problems by doing so,thanks.help

Why do you want to change it? Do you not get the tax for free as well?

yes i do but i was told it should say kit car or midge on the log book so i am unsure where i stand .
