Ford Pinto Engine

I have a Robin Hopod Engineering "S7" with a "Pinto 2.0 OHC" engine. I would need to find out what year the Engine is. How do I do that, from the engine number?? And where do I find the year based on that number, is there a website I can go to if I have the engine number? Thanks, Peter.

The first two letters of the [Pinto] engine N° give the date of manufacture.
Burton power have a chart showing month and year for your engine.

also take the cam cover off and it will be samped on the head.
