swap 1600 xflow for rs turbo??

I have a MK Indy with sierra running gear and a 1600 xflow engine.

A friend has offered me a newly rebuild rs turbo engine and I wondered how hard the swap would be and how much work would be involved??

Any info would be appreciated as I am pretty new to all these nuts and bolts :baby:

and am learning everyday.

it can be done, useing a t9 sierra, capri gearbox, but how are you with a welder and wireing. if it was me i would use my money to make a 1660 or 1700 you will not get the top end speed of the the cvh but it will be much more fun to drive
