Happened to be at Oulton Park on Saturday....Bookatrack were running a 'platinum' track day (costs a bit more but hardly any cars so very safe!!)
....my new Kumho V70a were fitted so I thought what the hell and went for it!!
Half a day.....about 10-15 cars on track at any one time.
Verdict:- AWESOME
The circuit is superb, really challenging on some of the bends.....and progressively got better as the day went on.
Got tired later on, dropped concentration and managed a fairly big moment (backwards at 75 onto the grass....) but no impact so car is fine.
The Kumho tyres have transformed the grip levels....although for track use the medium compound is probably too soft in the dry....i shredded them a bit!!!
