front wings
could anyone advise me on the front wing holders..there is a long leg and a short one on either side of the fixing holes...which goes to the front?ta.
E30 or E36? (Wing stays are different I beleive)
front wings
Its e30,and I have 225 45 17 on.I seem to get an uneven gap between the tyre and mounting strip for the wings.doh!
The fit of the wing will very much depend on the tyre sizes. I have 205/60 x 16 and its a tight squeeze.
There is another thread somewhere about wingstays. They have been the subject of much discussion mainly 'cuase they tend to - err - fall off....

Hi Jeremy,
Does this help?
Also, I had to use wheel spacers to get my tyres central under the wings. Hence the wheel studs and not bolts.
But as Robin says, take a look at the other thread because we have all experimented with diffrent mounting techniques as the standard method comes loose or breaks off.
