Happy Christmas ....

23 Dec 2009, 8:57pm
Hi exi 'ers,

Well...the weather is very cold, and salty, so the car's tucked away in the garage.

The good news....the nights are starting to draw out now....spring won't be too long away!

...in the meantime, the list of winter tweaks is progressing.

Wishing all fellow owners & builders a safe, Happy Christmas and New Year.

Hi Rich.

Weather could not get any worse at a time to want to starting testing a car could it!

Wishing you all a merry Christmas and a happy New Year as well.

Ho Ho Ho and all that.... :icon_razz:

Talking of the New Year, who will be on track, and when?!?!

I've the 22nd Feb' at Colerne penciled in, and 21st May at Mallory Park booked.

Yes John & I with co-drivers have booked for the GOME 6 hour endurance at Mallory Park on the 21st May as "Team 5EXi" - that's us not the cars!!!

I will be doing other track days but need to do some mods on the car over the winter (nothing major) so it will be April before I am out to play but will definitely do a shake down day at either Colerne or Keevil prior to the event at Mallory in May.

Also pencilled in the calender is Pembrey in September with MSE. Both Dave & I have driven this circuit once before but not for 3 years but well worth the effort, a great circuit. Would love to do Donington again but until they sort out the mess left by doing a deal with Bernie who knows what will happen to that great circuit.

See you on track in 2010.

Always fanced doing this event at Mallory park. Still might do yet as a second team 5exi.:D

Man against machine at the minute though.

I've now booked Keevil (not Colerne), for the 20th February, as a New Year shake down.

John I - just sign up for the Mallory Park event, and give yourself a forced target!
