I have a question regarding electronic speedometers.
I don’t own a kit car as such but I am however going through a similar issue to a few of you.
I’ve replaced the gearbox on my vehicle and it no longer has a mechanical output for the speedo. As a result I am looking at a stand alone electronic speedometer with a sensor/magnet working on the prop shaft.
I’ve been looking on the internet for a number of hours and am still shocked at the cost of them. The cheapest I’ve found is: http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=3794 After buying the sensor as well it’s seems pretty pricy, just for a speedo.
Basically I just wondered if anyone knew of any cheaper electronic speedometers to the one I’ve found
