Engine conversion - the first mapping session.

Hi everyone.

Had a dyno/mapping session yesterday. Not as much as I was hoping for due to some problems. Boost control issues so only running 17-18 psi.

Turbo was fine, just engine/boost control valve could get more boost (turbo peaked at 20PSI).

It made 296BHP at the crank with 260 lbft.:D With a bit more to come
when fixed.

Should be enough to be getting on with.:D

Have you tried it on the road yet?

I think you're in for a shock, when you do!

As an aside, the K04 is usually mapped to boost to 1.5bar in the mid-range, and crica 1 bar at the top end, and that makes 270. If your turbo is still efficient at 1.5bar at the top end, you'll make 320 ish?

Nope, not had it on the road yet as cv joint split. Fixed that tonight.
Should be fun at the airfield day Saturday. Where I can test me and the car.
Not looking forward to being shocked!
