001 Burlington SS

29 May 2010, 3:08pm
This is a most unique vehicle which I have been rebuilding for the past 4 years, having originally built the vehicle in 1979. I have started a blog with complete data of the build and detailed photos and some interesting characters on the way to the build. Here is the link to the blog: http://nigeljosephparr.blogspot.com/

There are now at least 40 posts on my blog which is detailing, with photos plus text, the building of the vehicle. Keep in touch to see how the characters in the story develop. The very poor suppliers, the helpful professional companies, the ones to avoid, the ones to embrace.:

Hits and misses

I would have never expected to have encoutered so many rogues and vagabonds in the 'simple' world car restoration: but believe me, negotiating the minefield of dodgy components, supposed expertise plus ignorant suppliers became a normal daily activity. Gathering 3 pages of 'contacts' from the beginning of the project in 2006 up until the present August 2010 I shall retain only 8 names of worth. :
There are now at least 100 posts on my blog relating to the build and other threads. Please read at www.nigeljosephparr@blogspot.com

The completed car 001 Burlington

The car is finally completed. There remains only road tests. On July 15th it will be driven to south Burgundy where it will probably remain for a number of years. Visit the blog for further details. nigeljosephparr.blogspot.com

The Burlington Project

The Burlington has made a memorable journey through France on the 15th July 2011. The vehicle will probably remain there for the next few years; very close to the initial location of Beaune back in the distant past of November 1981. Please follow the entire story at my blog www.nigeljosephparr.blogspot.com
