ive just quite by accident bought a marlin berlinetta it needs a lot doing to it not sure what yet but im willing to give it a dam good try, just had a quick look around your site and it looks like im in the right place to complete the job.

Just wondered where you are located if down south southern kitcar.com is a good local group ,I would suggest joining a local group as well ,you can help each other with the heavy bits etc as your friends will dissapear quite rapidly when you want to shift an engine!!
You'll find the Marlin Owners Club [url]www.marlinowenersclub.com[/url] is very helpful too for the older cards, though they do rather like you to join the club.

In their club goods there a a few items that may be of help, like a Build manual and Tech tips from previous builders.
It does not say they are only available to club members.

thanks for that, i don't know why anybody on the owners club didn't suggest the Good's department i found the build manual and tips CD i will try order a copy.this is my first kit so i mite be on here pestering people quit a bit, marlin forum isn't very active in comparison to here,

There are no statements on the MOC website to that effect though it has been implied in previous posts on the MOC forum.
I am pretty sure that any of the MOC members using this forum would find it a bit harsh too.
As a long standing MOC member I am sorry you have been treated in this way. I guess that a fair proportion of MOC members in general would agree.

I'm not wanting to slag of MOC or the vast amount of its members, BUT i was warned that there is two factions on there, one being like minded chaps that just want some where for advice/info, and a place to share pic's of there pride and joy, And the other one that is just hell bent on making people join there clan, its a shame because there is a wealth of information on the forum all of great use to me as i am a total novice, i have had some good offers of help from some of the members which is very much appreciated, its a good place to be, BUT!! when you are getting chased around the forum by TIM!! it becomes very uncomfortable, SHAME!! really.
finally got started on the dash board coming along nicely.it all pulls together nice and tight when the screws are in, iv left the main screws out for now while i make adjustments, i still have the glove box stereo and heater controls to cut out of the dash, and the junk box to cut from the centre console. not being a joiner myself i didn't realise how much work there was just to get to this stage.
