Have a bit of time to post a thread, time is flying by and not always with any progress on the kit car.
I have sold the Hood, (avatar show it in its hay days) and got a broken 111s Elise, still building the 5Exi and its in the paint shop as I post, the fat rear arches will be blended in professionally and will look like part of the the original body.
The Elise will be ready before the 5Exi so I will have a track day car to play with now the Hood has gone.
Work is getting in the way of real progress on the 5Exi as I am away during the week and only see the garage at weekends.
The summer was so nice I failed to make much progress on the 5Exi but I am planning an IVA as soon as it returns from the point shop and I fit and wire up the front lights. The cold of the winter garage is not a prospect I am looking forward too.
