can anybody help! Im trying to wire the wiper motor in and cant seem to get the intermitant working, has anybody got a clue as to which order the wires plug in as im stuck. Or do I need the intermitant setting as the other two settings work, for the SVA.
you do not need intermitent for the sva there is only requirement a min sweeps per minute and the fast speed is ok for that.
As for the intermitent I take it you have a intermitent relay as it will not work without one. As far as i could work out the intermitant works by the relay quickly cutting the circuit in the park switch. This resores power to the motor which starts the sweep then the relay restores the circuit and the motor continues the sweep until it reaches the park postion. this will continue every few second while the relay is acivated. All I need to do is identify the intermitant relay.
varible intermitent sweep is achieved by putting a varible potentiometer in the feed to the relay thus reducing or increasing the voltage .this will increase the time between sweeps.
I am trying to find a good variable unit on the internet. I have one on my road car but often find it too frequent and get that wonderful rubber on dry glass squeel.
