Could a sportster owner/builder do me a favour and measure the distance on the top of the metal chassis scuttle panel from the front edge (just behind the brake servo) to the front of the fibre glass section of the scuttle that bolts down on top?
I want to drill and bolt the pedal box up into the chassis this evening but don't want to risk sticking the head of a nut right on the line where the fibreglass section sits (and I don't have it yet to test fit)
Actually, scrap that, just looked and realised that it runs along the same line as the bit of the chassis on the side that the bonnet side panels are riveted to so I can follow the line along the top from there.
I was going to to send you your answer, which is 230mm ( M20 2.5L ) and could have sent a pic, but don,t know how to do it on this forum. Would have had to send you a pm to send that though.
