I have been looking at the Marlin build manual and they show yellow fuel lines. Does anyone know where I can get these from marlin said my motorfactors but my local one does not have any. The only other place I can find is RS and they only sell it by the 30m. Some one please help me it is all that is stopping me from starting my beast.
Any help would be very appreciated.
Benny,
I keep this stuff 8mm anyway, it is available from most good parts wholesalers, if you are totally stuck I can send you some at cost price. I presume your 5exi is yellow then. Brian.
I've just got mine supplied by Marlin and it's yellow. I did not know that these come in different colours. Does it matter what colour these fuel lines are Brian? Is it different colours have different fuel pressure, strength or size? Why can't we use rubber hoses for all? Is it due to the space for the bodywork?
I don't think the colour signifies anything, I have only seen them in black, yellow or clear. If you want to use rubber hose throughout then you can do as long as it's proper fuel injection pipe.
I prefer the semi-rigid stuff personally, you can get fast fit connectors that just push on and released easily for dismantling. Brian.
