I have just purchased a Moss Mamba, or as the V5 says, a Triumph Vitesse.
I a sure some of you have seen this appear on ebay a few times in the last year, I certainly have and finally managed to get my hands on it !
Now sat in my garage waiting for the Alfa engine and box to come out so I can re-triumph it... Should be a very long project as I already have a Gilbern Invader that requires finishing, though it is on the road.
I'll post progress pics as and when if people are interested.
Today I picked up a Rover V8 and Triumph O/D gearbox with the intention of squeezing them into the Mamba...
Any advice at this stage is welcomed as I have never tried this before !
I will need to trim back the firewall / bulkhead a little and try and fashion some mounting brackets but I am sure you all know this already being Kitcar fanatics
Is the best way to get the engine in the bay and start seeing where the best position is for the mounts regarding exhaust manifolds etc ?
