But you are right it has been grand weather.
I've got a 80 mile round trip to work in Weymouth at the moment and the journey is mostly through Dorset rolling hills with relatively empty roads and some interesting straights. Guess which car has been used this week.
Well jel of all of you, as da yoof would say! Currently 'enjoying' the car by putting on the cycle wings, drilling holes for lights and sorting out the rear panel and cubbly hole behind the seats (with the garage door open, nearly the same thing???!!!??) This time next year we should be joining you guys in the sunshine too!!
P.S. Were any of you in/around Hereford today? Dad's wife phoned him all excited saying she saw a Sportster today, beautiful it was too apparently!!
Nope, I was a long way from there! Have you got that beast of an engine fired up yet?
Might have been Terry or Mark as she said she/they was/were in the Gloucester area today.
Will bring the beast back to life in the next few weeks hopefully. Busying ourselves with bodywork and wheels/spacers/dash layout etc at the mo.
This time next year we should be joining you guys in the sunshine too!!
