Just wondering if i can put a Mk2 head on a Mk1 block? This may have been done already as my Vitesse is a 71'. I am only asking as i have made a bit of a mistake... I was having trouble taking a manifold bolt out, above it was a square sided bolt (a drain plug for water). Basically i ended up rounding off the bolt
, so ended up cutting off the main part that was left
so, i drilled the centre out and used one of those extractors
I thought at some point it will shift
especially with a pipe on the end of spanner
well
, it did come free
along with the corner of the head
