This is a read-only archive of the old Madabout Kitcars forum. New posts and replies are no longer possible, but every thread is still here to browse and read.
I have been reminded (My Fiancee, Doreen, works in this area) that in order to satisfy legal requirements, any images I intend putting on the Sammio web site require the owner's implied or explicit permission to do so (And I do want to expand on the gallery on the site). My own view is that if an image has been posted to an accessible forum such as this one, it resides in the public domain and could be used for my purpose but I'm not going to assume that is the case.
What I will ask is that if any forum poster wants to opt out of their images being used, they either PM me or add a post to this thread to that effect. I will be putting a statement on the Gallery that some images have been sourced from the forum and owner's permissions are implicitly given.
I will, of course, remove any poster's images from the site should they opt out but I hope that with the camaraderie on this forum, the instances will be low.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Cheers
Andy
Andy, feel free to use any of my own pictures that I post however you see fit. Just be wary that sometimes I post pictures that I've sourced from the internet, like the tapir I used to compare with the Connaught, so don't actually own the rights.
And just to hijack the thread, the sammio spyder gallery on here is looking a little bare, there must be a few completed spyders now which owners wouldnt mind showing off.
Thanks for pointing this out John.
Come on guys, there are some fabulous looking cars in the group now. Let's have a Madabout Gallery worthy of the marque

Submitted a picture yesterday morning for the gallery (tm Tony Hart?). No sign of it appearing yet, but did it arrive? Was it not considered good enough? Some sort of acknowledgement that it's pending might be nice...
I have to manually validate each image as it keeps the gallery free of rogue pictures. I get a notification each day if new images have been uploaded hence the delay in a picture appearing.
I had to disapprove one image as it was too small (160 x 120 pixels), it was a picture of a part built Sammio in the foreground and a finished one in the background.
Actually, just realised it was the image you are using as your avatar Mister Towed.
