Just connecting up the gear lever cables. Fitted the cable to control forward and back motions but it seems that the "outer"part of the cable is moving and not the inside part of the cable. So not moving the rod on gearbox. I've not connected the left right motion cable yet but that seems to move the inner part of the cable ok.

that's the second screen breakage i've heard about, I think you might find Marlin the cheapest option i'm afraid, I tried a number of windscreen companies before I got the kit and none could match the price.
Rob who I met at the Harrogate show did his in when drilling the holes for the screen surround by the way, so other builders be warned.
I popped into my local RAC auto windscreen center, the guy was happy to sell me two tubes of almost unmarked 'stuff' fo a fiver.
We put the screen in today and sealing it was a doddle if a little bit grubby, best thing is this stuff is really strong and I am going to seal the capping in place with the use of a couple of G clamps.
Seriousely it is so strong yet I can move the screen with ease.
