This is the other chassis that's serving as the engine fitment mule. It will also be used to design the frame as the bulkhead area obviously needs to clear the engine.
That's looking might fine. Will the Mazda engine need a bulge to clear the bonnet or is it a similar height to the Triumph lumps?
Oh, and I'm tempted to suggest that you bodge your mule chassis together with chewing gum, leave that rigid rear 'spring' exactly where it is, sellotape the body on and sell it to someone who has a mate who knows everything there is to know about self built cars before it spontaneously and fatally explodes in a ball of incandescent flames in the Fatherland, but that would be rather childish of me (tee hee).
Great pic's by the way. hoto: Keep up the good (or whatever standard you're capable of) work.

It certainly won't need a central bulge, there's plenty of clearance there! It may need a blister on each side to clear the cam covers, something like those used to clear an SU on the straight six. If I could modify the chassis, the engine could go back three inches and drop it down two and then it would go in easy!
