Finally getting round to doing my first job on the kit, how have you fitted the floor panels and tunnel centre sections, not sure if I should be using rivets, rivnuts or a mixture of both, did you drill the holes and then fit them later or just put them straight on.
I was considering using rivets around most of the floor pan and then rivunts for the inner rail with the tunnel section so it could be removed.
Any advice at this early stage would be great. I just need to build my confidence up at the beginning, I'm sure I'll be fabricating my own brackets and wot not in no time...
Thanks for that..
Anyone know a source of 4.8mm drill bits, I've got a stack of 4.8mm rivets and can't find any drill bits. Had ordered some from screwfix but there out of stock and don't know when they'll have some more..

Yep been there. Not a standard size you can get from DIY stores.
I got mine from screwfix. Just checked there site and it don't mention there out of stock. Part 11086.
If you get stuck, PM me your address and I'll send a couple out to you.

Gent's if I may be of assistance.
Try ordering 3/16" HSS Drill bits (Screwfix number Part number 16889).
It's just that the rivets are traditionally an imperial size (in this case 3/16") which is 187.5 thousandths of an inch.
The conversion to mm is 187.5 divided by 39 (thou) = 4.8 mm
39 thou = 1mm
Hope this helps.
In a previous work life I used to do engineering type stuff.
Did wonder why I couldn't get any bits easily when they sell the 4.8mm rivets. Thanks for the info, have got some now though screwfix had them back in stock. Mike should be taking the Hubs off the BRM at the weekend so I'll check out thoses ABS sensors if you still need them.

Thanks Dan if you can I would really appreciate it.
