New from Germany

28 Jan 2013, 8:08pm
I am brand new to the site (more or less) and just wanted to say Hi.:flame:
My name is Henry (Heinrich) and I live in Germany, near Frankfurt. So ever equal a big sorry for my English:icon_smile:
I do my best, and now to my story.
Three weeks ago when I browse around the web saw the MX250.
I could not sleep the first night. Next Day i then talked to my brother, who drives for years Land Rover and a BSA Gold Star. He was fascinated.
Then I showed the picture to my best friend. He's got a 427er Pilgrim Sumo and is usually critical
He just said, let's build something.:target: I said no, then when 2nd.
Said and done. My brother in law had a 99ba. I immediately bought the beautiful well maintained MX. Hope to find another mx asap.
Then I got Chris from Tribute Automotive builds bombarded with questions.
He always answered immediately friendly information. Special thanks Chris!!!
Last Saturday I ordered 2 kits. I am so happy but excited. 3 Weeks are so long.
I am looking forward if we take the truck to the UK.
We want to really pick up the kits themselves.
Very important that I get to know Chris personally, he has created a masterpiece.

So that's it for now. Best regards Heinrich

Hi tonyt
thank you for the friendly welcome.
Dover is on the way, that sounds fantastic.

What do you think of these rims.

I hope the link works.

Yes I love the highway.
But the tickets are getting more expensive.
But a few times a year we go to the Nürburgring, i love the screams of the cai & the Mustang Supercharger

Welcome along mate! Love the wheels same ones as I am getting since finding out the ones I wanted are too expensive. I'm halfway between Dover and Chris' place so stop by if you like. My kits just ordered and my blog is http://hammysmx250gto.blogspot.com

once again many thanks. for the warm welcome
I think I need a week off. (:)
I'm looking for a nice cheaper alternative, the Image rims are world class but extremely expensive. Too much at the moment, maybe later
It's great how big the kit car scene in the UK is.
regards

Hello Seanick,
this is very nice and we are pleased with the offer.
We like to come for a visit.
We drive away from Frankfurt on Thursday. (Truck)
The ferry goes pm to ~ 6. Then we stay somewhere along the way.
Friday we want to be with Chris. There we will stay the night in a Hotel next to his shop.
On the way back we would like to come by.
If the tickets are confirmed I write the exact schedule.

I've read your report page by page and look forward to seeing the live conversion.
Greetings
Heinrich

Thanks it is a MP112 with 14 psi boost

In conjunction with the injection of WAES the Mustang goes like a rocket.

That's enough for about 10 min 20 sec on the Nordschleife (Nurburgring).
After one round, the brake discs are indeed blue but the fun is priceless. Did last year, extra-large Brembo GT brakes installed and hope that it will be better this year, (under 10 minutes) per round (~ 21kms):eusa_dance:
