Period Belts?

Hi Mac,

I had printed the details of these belts ages ago for my "that might work" information pile.

I still haven't worked out what I am doing with seat belts yet.
( A lot now depends on how I get on re-using parts of my Spitfire shell. )

But as they were down to the last 2 by the time I followed the link I bought then anyway. :rolleyes:

Blindly there were 6 left when I posted! After going to the factory last week I have already settled on 3 point bolts as per the current cordite oops navigator demonstrator so Andy is building the required belt points into my frame

I bought a pair last night also. They do look "right" for the 50s special and much cheaper than most seat belts that I have seen.

Just to let you all know that i have had a reply re the belts and he has more stock and has listed them, if we can get a bit of a group buy going we may be able to get some discount, anyone else need any?

Belts

Hi Tron,
Mr. Marks and Spencer have just contacted me regarding some PPI they missold me, and would like to give me some money back!!!! Not going to keep me in the life my ex was accustomed to, but might keep the Ebay wolf from my rolling chassis if I can get a job sorted ASAP. Couple of positive leads coming any day so will put the old head in the noose and say count me in for a pair if you guys aren't ordering for a couple of weeks.

Erm. Anyone else received their belts today? Gaz and I did. Design looks good though I can't remember the description mentioning that they were half and half Black and Grey ?

Strangely they are exactly as per the ebay photo. It looks like it was in shadow but look closrly and it's right. He also says coloured black / grey so no complaints.

Just looked the listing and your right I thought the darker side was in shadow, all adds to the eccentric feel :-)
