Help Needed - 1985 Motorspeed Magic Kit Car
Help Needed - 1985 Motorspeed Magic Kit Car
Hi All,
I have purchased a 1985 Motorspeed Magic Kit Car,
It's quite a nice looking car and should be a good introduction to kit cars.
The problem I have though is that I can't actually find anything out about the company.
Would love to know more about them and find any other owners.
If anybody knows some info I'd much appreciate you letting me know.
Thanks
Sadly they don't have an entry in the a-z of kit cars book i picked up a while back, so fingers crossed that you find somebody who knows somebody....
Dave
maybe not a Motorspeed
The model is apparantly called a magic but I may be wrong about the make be motorspeed.
here is a link to a picture though.

Anybody who could shed some light on what the car is ?
the info I had with it was: 1985 Cheltenham Motorspeed 'Magic' Kit Car produced under the direction of Motorspeed Director Roger Mossop.
it is based on a ford cortina.
I think it is a Scorhill Magic (try a google images search)
Its a MFE Magic Styled by Roger Mossop an MG specialists Motorspeed of Tangmere, early 84 cars were MGB based then later used Cortina mk3 running gear.
info found in Peter Filby Classic kit car book.
That's great, thank you guys for your help.
Does anybody know of any others about?
Or where panels etc could be bought?
