One year on!

2 Jun 2013, 3:14pm
Gents. It is now One year today that the deal was done to transfer the Sammio brand from Gary to me. I can't say it has been smooth waters all the way but it's certainly been an enjoyable journey. We've moved from a tiny unit in Preston to a massive place in Leyland, completely redesigned both sets of Frames and new moulds are currently being made for the Navigator (was Cordite) with plans to do a similar exercise to the Pilot (was Spyder). We've set up a 'turnkey' line with (currently) Three Pilots and a Navigator under way.
Thanks go to all who have given support. Both verbally, on this forum, and physically, such as Mac who has gone above and beyond the call of duty to make the new Navigator buck happen before it otherwise would have been.
We have a whole heap of exciting new ideas for the next year and look forward to sharing them with you all as they come to fruition.
Cheers all! It's great to have such a dynamic group of enthusiasts to bounce ideas off.

Looks like I've just missed my one year anniversary of paying the balance on my Cordite kit.

I hope these turnkey builds are going well & that you are "documenting" the work as you go along.
It would be a nice touch if the "getting started" section of your website* included your factory too.
But at the very least, you know we like to see photos of any build on here.

Good luck, Paul. :)
