What are you doing above the exhaust?

I took the plastic cladding off the Z3 and there was a drilled chassis exposed. I originally planned to make this a highlight feature in silver but am now thinking black, body coloured or even covered with a blank panel.

Wire wheels fitted. Need another coat of read on the body and sills then the wheels all done black
