I am looking to buy a new Gentry Kit but am finding it difficult to locate the manufacturer. I believe that the kit was being made by Vintage Motor Company - however also believe that this company has gone out of business ?? Any ideas
Hi everyone - So with circa 25 people having viewed this posting and not one reply i guess the world of Kit Cars has lost forever the RMB Gentry. What a crying shame for a car with a long history and over 2,000 kits/vehicles sold. I would be v interested in finding the tooling etc and starting to build/sell the kits myself - So if you do know the status of the tooling, where to find it and who the owners are etc ... please let me know.
You get used to it with the kit car industry but it is incredibly frustrating running a website such as this one as the cars seem to change hands so frequently it's nigh on impossible sometimes to fathome who currently owns/offers what.
Have got in touch with some very nice people at the Gentry Register and they have given me some info ref the ownership status of the Gentry - i am chasing this up - will update as I find out
