Was considering a 30cm drop by changing the springs for eibachs at about £230.

Any other recommendations? Gonna be used daily on bad roads so an element of comfort needs to be retained.

I would go for the Eibach springs and some new shocks. Coilovers won't give you the forgiving ride you need on bad roads.

Many thanks.

New shocks advisable then? Any particular brand/type?

It depends on what you want, but I've always found Sachs to provide good control and retain comfort. Bilstein's are good but more expensive and possibly harsher depending which model you buy. Koni's are good and adjustable, but I find them too stiff even on their softest setting. Eibach's will work with OEM too.

Thanks for that. Might just try running on the originals to begin with and see how it goes.
