Could Mercedes be next on the tribute line up?....
This car was called the Duesen Bayern Mystar and it was built by a japanese company that also built Fiat 500 replicas on Nissan Micras. I don´t know if they still build the Mystar or anything about the price but I believe they were quite popular.
It wouldn´t be a bad idea if it was on the Tribute line up.
I don´t think MB would say much about a Z3 SL as you can see its more of a lookalike, but the 300SL that WCA mentions is clearly in another league as it looks more like a forgery of the real thing.
Building something that looks like a modified SL "might" not give problems.
Remember chris, he who dares wins! dont be put off by bently....
I would prefer to steer clear of Germanic products if poss. Please don't point out that AC is now in German hands, didn't know that until it was too late....

Damn, and I was hoping you'd build me a modernised 356 Speedster on a Mercedes Sprinter donor. At least that would probably sell well in the Fatherland.
