Nasty Weather

What do you do?

- Struggle on with the jobs getting wet or working in a damp cramped garage?
- Chuck a cover on it and wait till spring?
- Hope that global warming kicks in and the weather changes?

Well, I built a tent in my front garden, which is waterproof, and I can work in it ok, the problem is actually getting out there and doing it in this cold weather!

landmannnn - Today, my wife bought me a new wooly hat for the winter months.

It was only £3 from Primark, so I wore it this afternoon and it was a big improvement on my old one.

Shortly I will be digging out my thermals and intend to keep working through the winter as best I can.

Progress during the winter will never be as good as during the summer months, but all progress helps.

Good luck, Paul. :)

PS
Please read Monty Python's "Four Yorkshiremen" sketch regarding your "damp cramped garage" comment.

Luxury!

Thermal hat! Luxury!

When we were young all we had was a rolled up newspaper and a piece of coal.

Rolled up newspaper and a bit of coal you say? LUXURY!
All we had was a bit of soggy tissue and a small piece of damp cardboard!

Course we had it tough!

Right...you think you had it tough. We had to get up at 4 o'clock in the morning, four hours before we went to bed. We had to drink brake fluid and pay the mold owner for the privilege of working on his kit. When we got the forumeers would dance on our graves.

We were evicted from our piece of damp cardboard.

Evicted? Huh!

That's another luxury, we were dragged off ours, imprisoned and beaten daily........

Your humour is nearly as old as your cars pretend to be....

But what did the Romans ever do for us?
10 Nov 2014, 3:49pm
They lent us their city so we could film "The Italian job" and show off our Mini............
