I am trying to track down a supplier for a rev counter and speedometer with the dial numbers stating offset from the standard dials as per the images below.
Has anybody come across a dealer in this type of clocks or know which cars they were fitted to originally?
These dials are all clockwise, just start 180º (or 90º) opposite. For the ingenious it's relatively easy to take the glass out, pull the needle off the taper ended shaft and stick a new black vinyl face with the correct calibration and whatever you want by way of printing.
Most sign places can now print on vinyl, if you create the exact layout you want, in PSP, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator or whatever drawing software you like, save as a TIFF or JPEG and hand it to the sign place, they should be able to print it on black, or whatever colour vinyl you want, all you have to do is stick it onto your dial face and push the needle back on the shaft at your chosen zero point.
Cost? Perhaps a Tenner? And you can have exactly the calibration you want.
