Hi I'm sure i saw a link about the best place to get hard top seals to seal the gap between the windows and roof on my MX250 but i can't find it ..... can anybody help please ...i have tried MX5 parts but they want £200 for them thanks
no what I did was to fill the gap in by around 15mm and the glass over it so it looks as it was always there. sorry for got to do pics will add them late on tomoz
sorry for the delay its been manic, don't know if you can work it out from the pick. think of the L shape profile of the door frame and then add a square infill just in the corner to step it out. just need to put the trim back on and mine is all finsihed
i should have done this job before going to paint but that would have been too easy
i marked around the closed window
then measured 10cm back and cut along that line
then the bit i cut of i refitted behind with tiger seal and countersunk rivets giving an edge to push the seal onto

then bent and fitted the rain gutter which also went on with tiger seal and countersunk rivets finished off with filler, primer, satin black then satin black laquer. I was dreading this job as my GTO was already painted but we got fed up getting wet every time it rained...Ned
