Any ideas where to stick this hose?

And another problem is that there is no hose of the right size for fitting the two bits together 14-20 second in the video) available in Southampton!

Grrrr!!!

Nick that pipe looks like a breather pipe - I would fit the manifold - start the engine and see if it draws a vacuum (stick your finger over it)

As for the pipe to join - I would venture to B&Q and buy a suitable size pipe to make a joiner.
But you could measure and buy a proper joiner on ebay

The join needs to be a T, join the two pipes and the hole on the back of the inlet. 22mm internal diameter and B&Q has no suitable hose. Hence the Grrr.

If the loose pipe is a does draw vacuum then what, if anything does it need connecting to?

It looks to me like on the old manifold it was connected after the throttle body. That means the suck should be at the unconnected end and will suck out of the black plastic thing it is currently connected to.

Happy to be told I am wrong

Thanks guys. The main issue I have is a big party tomorrow, hang over Sunday, no hose available in Southampton, work on Monday and an ankle op followed by 3 months on crutches on Tuesday.

Never mind, I am sure I will sort something

Any fishpond/aquatic places in your area? I seem to remember that I have used a similar t piece in fishpond plumbing.
The other option is blank them all. They don't do anything important unless there is a brake servo hose.

Brake Servo is one I have identified. It is the one near the dipstick by the windscreen end of the engine.

Not sure about blanking them off, I am sure they are there for a reason.

That vacuum powered flap valve on the tail silencer we dispense with must get its suck from somewhere- that's one candidate for non-connection.

Hope that all goes OK- get well soon. Will you be able to play the piano afterwards?
